MARILYN SANCHEZ Obituary

MARILYN JANE SANCHEZ "I just love a summer morning with bright sunshine & soft puffy clouds. A lovely glass of iced tea with lemon, watering my beautiful flowers, and wearing my beloved flip flops." -Marilyn Marilyn Jane (Cragg) Sanchez, 72, was born to JoAnn (Walters) and Merle Cragg in Dodge City, Kansas on January 29, 1952. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her two daughters on June 15, 2024. Marilyn worked as a hospice nurse in Topeka, KS where she and her husband Robert D. Sanchez "Bob" (d.2013) lovingly raised a family. Early retirement led to grandparenting fulltime in Prairie Village, Kansas. She will be dearly missed by her beloved grandchildren Samuel and Vera Winters, her daughters Erin Lynn (h. Aaron Peter) Winters, and Kelley Sanchez, her brothers Gary (w. Connie), John (w. Tonya), Gene (w. Denise), sister-in laws Victoria "Vicky" Smith, and Dianne Sanchez, many nieces and nephews, and her grand-pug Biscuit. As per Marilyn's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Instead, her daughters will spread her ashes in a private memorial.
