Amos Williams Obituary
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday, June 26, from Oak Grove Methodist Church on Highway 52 West, Hartford, with the Revs. Bobby Enfinger and Murrell Turvin officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at Bottoms-Garden Chapel in Hartford.
Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Tullie Williams; two sisters, Ruth Hanners and Dorothy Williams; and one brother, James Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Williams; two sons, Michael Williams, Valdosta, Ga., and Dennis Williams and his wife, Saundra, of Tallahassee, Fla.; four granddaughters, Kimberly Williams, Aprille Williams, Emily Williams, Aimee Williams; four brothers, Woodrow (Buck) Williams and his wife, Faye, of Hartford, Wallace Williams, Midland City, Jessie Williams and his wife, Betty, of Eufaula and Ralph Williams; two sisters, Sara Williams of Dothan and Frances Andrews of Pinckard; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Justin Strickland, Adam Strickland, Tony Hanners, Carthel Hatcher, Todd Smith and Billy Williams.
Bottoms-Garden Chapel FuneralBottoms-Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Hartford, (334) 588-3250, is in charge of arrangements.
