Billy Barnes Obituary
Billy Lamar Barnes passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was 79 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Bro. Gary Newell officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Lett of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Survivors include his two sons, Brace (Cindy) Barnes and Brant (Tammie) Barnes both of Hartford; grandchildren, Tyler (Madison) Barnes, Brandon Barnes, Hannah (Adam) Commander, Cody Willingham, Taylor (Scott) North, and Brandon (Brianne) Kent; great grandchildren, Tyce and Towns Barnes, Kinley and Ethan Commander, and Brayden, Brody and Bryson Kent; two sisters, Julia (Jimmy) Todd and Barbara Barnes (Gil Starleigh); along with his nephews.

Bill was a very good friend of mine and he Loved my son Brian as his own I hate I lost touch with Bill , Bill had the biggest heart ever and I am so sorry I lost touch with him in the last few years Bill's Mother use to do a lot of quilting with my Mother both lived in Hartford Sorry I moved to Jacksonville , Florida and lost touch with you the last few years but you will all way hold a place like no other in my heart , it is not Good-By it is until we see each other again !!!Much Love your friend, Debbie ( Brian Mother )
