Lisa, Ashley, & Tammy,
My heart goes out to you during this time of loss. I'll always remember how he lived as though each act, each word, was a reflection of his faith. Ashley, I'll always hold dear the fond memories I have of going over to your house when we were little and thinking you had one of the coolest dads! I know we'll all miss him dearly, but it is comforting to know that he is in Heaven with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. I love you all and will be praying for you.

Dear Lisa and Ashley,First I'd like to say how sorry I am for your loss. I can't even imagine your pain, but thought you might find some solace in how Byron's spirit touched my life.
I met Byron while working out at Gold's gym and through the years of simple morning hellos, there were a few times of stress in my own life, where he had words of wisdom and confirmation of God's love. We sometime take for granted those we sort of brush across in our daily life, however, my thoughts on Byron's spirit is this. We have opportunities each and every day to affect how others feel and view the world during their moments of unexplained crisis.. Byron had a sense of these times and knew how a simple gesture or lending of the ear could lift someone's spirit and place their hearts in God's mighty hands. It didn't take a lot of time or even much effort for you to know Byron had a relationship with God.
I saw Byron Monday. I was lifting weights on one side of the gym, but saw him up above on the balcony running on the treadmill. I admired Byron. He told me his story and teased me about turning 51 for he said he wouldn't be far behind. My birthday was in August too and it was a fun to spin that milestone with someone who could put a sparkle in your eye. My husband only met Byron and few times but even in the few moments of sharing, he too came away with a healthy respect for Byron's dedication to life, love, family and testimony. He shared his brush with death in such a way that he inspired others and even now that he is physically gone, I know he would still have that same testimony in hopes that others could understand, learn and appreciate his story. Byron's spirit will live on forever in so many hearts. He was a good man and I feel blessed to have known him. Again, Michael and I are so sorry for your loss and will remember you in prayer.

I grew up just down the street from Byron and will always remember his kind and sweet spirit. I have also worked with Byron at Michelin. The only comfort is to know that Byron is in heaven with his mother/father/and sister and of course our Lord and Savior.

Lisa,
My prayers and thoughts are with you and Ashley. I wish I could be there to hold you and support you during this time of loss, but know that you are loved and that God is with you. He will be your peace, comfort and hiding place. I love you both, and am sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way--all the way from Texas. I love you, and my heart is broken to hear that Byron was called away so early. The angels are rejoicing that a believer has made it home, but I know that your pain is real and sorrow will be your companion for awhile. God will uphold you with His righteous right hand and will be your very portion during this time of loss. I so want to hug you and kiss your tears away...know that you are loved, Lisa and Ashley...not only by me, but by so many others. You have always had my highest opinion and I have always looked up to you as a mighty woman of God. God works out all things for His good...Hold On To HIM!
Much Love,
Dana Wallace-Bourque
