Calvin Spurlock Obituary
Mr. Calvin Lamar Spurlock, 72, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 11 A.M., at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:30 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Born January 5, 1947 in Eufaula, Alabama, Mr. Spurlock was the son of the late Willie Sanford and Ruby Lee Blackmon Spurlock. Mr. Spurlock owned and operated Precision Alignment in Eufaula. His hobby was computers and he loved repairing small engines. Survivors include his wife: Cheryl Spurlock of Eufaula, Alabama; his son: Bryan Kale "Bot" (Carrie) Spurlock of Locust Grove, Georgia; his daughter: Katherine Melissa (Kyle) Lawhon of Cartersville, Georgia; 3 grandchildren: Kade Spencer (Kacey) Lawhon, Kera Alexis Lawhon (Simon Petron), Shawnee Sky Spurlock; 1 great granddaughter: Zoey Ansler; 1 brother: Dean Spurlock; 3 sisters: Cathy Walker, Susan (Richard) Tasker, Lisa (Stanley) King. Active pallbearers will be Brad Spurlock, Chris Spurlock, Bubba Spurlock, Daniel Spurlock, Shane Tasker, Chad Spurlock and Simon Petron.
