Darrin Hallman Obituary
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in the Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with the Reverend Dianne Kelly officiating.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 3, 2007. At other times the family will be at 105 Aspen Circle, Dothan. The family ask that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions may be made to the Dothan Animal Shelter.
Mr. Hallman was born on May 18, 1962, in Gross Pointe, Mich. the son of Darryl Hallman and Kay Hallman Merritt. He had been a resident of Dothan since 1978 and was a 1980 graduate of Northview High School. He attended Wallace College and was employed in the Environmental Services in sales and
management.
Survivors include: Mother, Kay Merritt, Eufaula; Father, Darryl Hallman, Dothan; two sisters, Karrie Hallman, Dothan; Linda and Jimbo Albritton, Graceville, Fla.; a brother, Randy Hallman, Orange Park, Fla..; two stepchildren, Holly and Haley Davis, both of Tennessee; one niece, Kristin and six nephews, Troy, A.J., Randy, Tyler, Trevor and Jeremy.
Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, (334) 702-1712, is in charge of arrangements.

I'M VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE DEATH OF DARRIN. I WORKED WITH HIM AT SUNFLOWER ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. HW WAS A VERY GOOD FRIEND AND CO-WORKER. HE WOULD CALL ME MAMA WHEN I WOULD GET UPSET. HE WOULD TRIED TO CONSOLE ME. HE WAS TRUELY A GOOD FRIEND. I WILL MISS HIM DEARLY.

I am very sorry to hear of Darrins passing,I didn't hear of this untill after the service or I would surely have been there. I worked with Darrin at Sunflower in Opelika Al. Darrin was a good and true friend, we stayed in touch after his move back to Dothan, and I will miss the weekly phone calls and will truly miss Darrin, he was one of a kind and a standup guy. I would like to extend my condolences to his family,friends, and the special people that enjoyed life with him.
