DAVID DOZIER Obituary

David D. Dozier David D. "Dick" Dozier, 74 of Noma, Florida passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Campbellton-Graceville Hospital. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Noma Baptist Church with Revs. Jonathan Shepard and Eddie Biss officiating. Burial to follow in Noma Cemetery with military honors by the U.S. Navy, James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Flowers omitted and those wishing may make memorials to Noma Baptist Church. Mr. Dozier affectionately known as Dick was born in Esto, Florida. A retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, Dick served in the U. S. Navy for over 25 years and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Noma Baptist Church. He is survived by his beloved wife Evelyn; four children, David Doyle Dozier, Jr. and wife Annette, Lithonia, GA, Michael Dozier, Snellville, GA, Chris Dozier, Noma, FL, Rose Dozier, Grayson, GA; brother Loyle Dozier, Lake Placid, FL; three sisters Alvera Jones, Cape Canaveral, FL, Veleta Skipper, Pensacola, FL, Nita Williams, Graceville, FL; three grandsons Randy, Dennis, Data Dozier; one great-grandson Connor Dozier.
