Ms. Debra Ann "Debbie" Kite, 63, of Enterprise, Alabama, died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Memorial services were held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula, Alabama. The Rev. Hardy Bryan officiated with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Born March 27, 1953 in Fort Benning, Georgia, Ms. Kite was the daughter of the late Cecil Clyde and Myrtle Williams Steed, Sr. She was a proud and loving sister, aunt, friend, grandmother and mother to three wonderful daughters. She never met a stranger and had a loving relationship with God. She is survived by 3 daughters: Kellie (Sheila) Kite of Nashville, TN, Laurie Kite (Jeremy Barron) of Eufaula, AL, Kimberlee (Joseph) Fernandez of Enterprise, AL; 9 grandchildren: Sarah, Mark, Jon, Alexis, Skylar, Raven, Jolee, Isabella, Elizabeth Catherine; 3 brothers: Cecil C. (Lisa) Steed, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Charlie (Ramona) Steed of El Paso, TX, John Steed of Eufaula, AL; 2 sisters: Nancy (Mike) Whaley of Eufaula, AL, Mary Steed of Eufaula, AL; several nieces and nephews.
