Diane Welmon

1945 - 2026

Diane Carol Welmon went to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 17, 2026 after a long fought battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Diane was born on February 21, 1945 in New York. She grew up in Pennsylvania and moved South as an adult. There will be a Celebration of Life Service held on March 21, 2026 at 2p at Trinity Church, Geneva.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, William (Jerry) Welmon; her daughter, Darlene Dunn and husband James, her granddaughter, Hannah. Her brother Steven Crider and wife, Terry. Her sister-in-law, Mae Crider. Her son, Clayton Dressler and wife Kim, and grandsons Brayden and Danton. Her bonus son, William Masaitis. She is preceded in death by her brother Garry Crider and mother and father, Mary Ann and Charles Crider.

Diane loved the Lord with her whole heart and brought smiles to those she encountered. She was an active and faithful member at Trinity Church, Geneva. She used her crafting gift to spread love and joy through her crocheting and knitting over the years making afghans, blankets, hearts, bears, wiggle worms and more to share through organizations like Loves Many Cloths, hospice and others. She loved reading, baseball, crocheting, and spending time with loved ones and friends.
