Nancy Welmon Obituary

April 9, 1934 - January 22, 2018 Nancy was born in North Hollywood, CA, to Jack (William) and Dorothy Straw. She graduated from Corvallis High School in Studio City. Nancy loved to spin tails about growing up in Hollywood and the famous stars she met. She married Wayne Welmon in 1954 and settled in the San Gabriel Valley to raise their three children, Deborah, Denise and William. Nancy had a big personality and loved to laugh but her greatest joy in life came from being a Mom and later a grandmother. After raising her children she moved to Tucson, AZ, and had a successful career in title insurance. Nancy loved travel and had many adventures including trips to Australia, the Amazon, Machu Picchu and Alaska. She will be missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Who could ask for more than a family that loves them and dear, dear friends." Services are pending.
