Eddie Ward Obituary

Eddie Ward, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after an extended illness. He was 48.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 10, from the Greater Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. R.Paul Hollman, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Smithville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 9, at Varner Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

His survivors include his wife, Gail Ward; six sisters, Gussie (Curtis) Pannell, Pinckard, Idean (John) Cheatem,Colquitt, Ga.,Carolyn (Horace) White, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Johnnie Pearl, Orlando, Fla., Erma (Isaac) Lockhart and Donna Franklin of Dothan; seven brothers, his twin brother, Edward (Marie) Ward, Kenneth (Stephanie) Ward, Frank (Yolanda) Ward, Sammy (Malacker) Reynolds, all of Dothan, Izell Price, Miami, Nathaniel Ward, Dania, Fla., John and John Henry Lockhart of Enterprise; two step-daughters, Kimyada Granger and Amy (Terry) Carroll of Midland City; four step-sons, Aaron Granger, Midland City, Yossaran Jackson, Virginia, Kelema Jackson, Atlanta, and Keyuma Jackson of Dothan; sisters-In-laws, Teresa (Ronald) Washington, Jacqueline (Leroy) Brown and Phyllis Dover; brother-in-law, Dwight Jones; two aunts, Earline (Les) Tiller, Patricia (Bobby) Anglin of Dothan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
