FRANCES OWENS Obituary

Frances J. Owens Mrs. Frances J. Owens of Geneva, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. She was 79. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Clifford Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Owens was born in Florida on August 23, 1930 to the late Henry and Nannie Seay Johnson. She was a graduate of Geneva High School Class of 1948. She retired from Phillips Van Heusen after 42 years of employment. Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Owens Love of Enterprise; and two sons, James Neal Owens, Jr. and Terry Owens of both of Geneva; one sister-in-law, Grey Owens King; nine grandchildren, Leigh Love (Jason) Childers, Earl Lee (Ericca) Love, Jr., Leah Blake Love, Nickolas Love, Chance Love, Renee (Tony) Clemmons, Jenera Owens, Kevin Vann, Todd Owens Davis; six great-grand-children, Collin Childers, Mason Childers, Alyssa Clemmons, Greyson Owens, Paige Bragg, and Ashley Bragg; her special friends, Debbie Grubbs, Shirley Mosier, Shira Bry-son, Linda Santini, Phyllis Retherford and Neysha Johnson.
