George David Lamb, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. He was 70. Visitation services for George will be held from 4 PM until 6 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. George was born January 17, 1947 in Trion, Georgia to the late Charles David and Mollie Louise Brown Lamb. He was a 1966 graduate of Trion High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. George worked in automobile finance for GMAC and Action Trucks. He was in the Dothan Civitan Club and enjoyed golf and NASCAR. George is preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mary Lamb; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Richard Gamble, Dothan; son and daughter-in-law, George Edward and Ellen Lamb, Chesapeake, Virginia; grandchildren, Alexander, Rhys, Tiara, Ruby, Max and a sister. www.southernheritagefh.com
