Glenn Cotton, age 68 of Dothan went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 28, 2017 following a brief illness. Glenn had a heart for the lost and to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After many years as a Pastor, Glenn was called to the mission field and moved to Prague, Czech Republic in 1998 and began a new chapter in his ministry of planting churches. Glenn & Nancy ministered in Prague for five years before returning to the States. However, this never diminished his desire to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as he traveled to Prague many times every year and ministered here in the States, as well, at every opportunity. He was excited about what God was doing and he was excited that he was able to return to Prague this year to celebrate 20 years of ministry there. Glenn had a heart for the Nations, particularly the people of Central Europe. Even though he may not be present with us here on this earth, Glenn would want to remind us all to be about the Lord's business and look forward to His soon return! The Body of Christ's best days are ahead! Glenn is survived by his faithful wife of 47 years, Nancy Cotton, Dothan; his mother, Katherine Cotton of Dothan; a son and daughter-in-law Asher & Nicole Cotton, Dothan, a daughter and son-in-law Andrea & David Letner, Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren Asher Cade and John Henry Cotton, Dothan, Tori (Dylan) Tomlinson and Courtney Letner, Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial contributions may be sent to Cornerstone Church, P.O. BOX 8641 Dothan, AL 36303.
