To Grace Ann's family: Please accept my deepest sympathy. My father, Oren D. Samuels, Jr (aka JR), used to babysit Grace Ann and her Aunt Betty Lou (who were close in age). He loves those "girls" and is quite taken aback at her tragic death. I will have him leave his own message when I have him over (as he doesn't have a computer).

Grace was a good woman,mother,grandmother,and greatgrandmother at least she is in a better place now.She will never be forgotten and my heart goes out to everyone who cared and loved her.

Dear Terrie and Family of Grace,
I am lost for words. I just don't know what to say, because nothing I say will take the pain away that you feel right now. And no one should every have to endure this kind of hurt and pain. I can say that you are in my prayers to give you the strength to be strong like your mother would want you to. I can honestly say that your mother, Grace, is in a much better place, because sometimes I really feel that hell is living on earth.

I am very sad to hear of such a fine lady passing. I worked with Grace in Home Health for the Health Department several years ago. She was a wonderful nurse and person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dwain and I were shocked to hear about Grace Ann. She was such a good friend when we lived in Dothan. I know you girls were loving and supportive daughters and will miss her . She was a hard worker and is now is the restful arms of God. We will always remember the friendship we shared beginning with nursing school.

Dear Sherrie, Terri, Wendy and Nita,
It almost tore my heart out to hear what happened to Grace Ann. Sherrie you and Grace were my best friends for many years. We worked, laughed and cried together. I was fresh out of nursing school, Grace took me under her wing and taught me everything I needed to know, she then got me my first job in Intensive Care. I owe my entire 27 years as a nurse to Grace. She was like a mother to me. I have worked 20 years in Intensive care and never have had the hurt in my heart I feel today for all of you. Grace Ann was one of the worlds most admired Mothers, Grandmothers, and Great-Grandmothers any family could have. I am and will always be honored to have been able to call her my friend.

Words fail me as I try to convey my sorrow for the pain you are bearing. Knowing your mom is safely in God's hands doesn't lessen the hurt of not having her here, but there is COMFORT that you'll see her again. Terrie, I didn't know your mom but I do know she raised a wonderful, loving daughter who just by having her named mentioned brings a smile to my face. My Dear Friend Terrie and Family,
I am so sorry for your sudden lose. I stayed awake most of the night thinking about how we were just talking that night of your wonderful plans for your Mom's 70th surprise Birthday party and thinking this couldn't of happened. I kept trying to figure out how to take some of your pain away. I woke up the next morning hoping it was just a bad dream. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We are here if you need anything.
I myself have found great comfort knowing there is a better place and our love ones are watching over us until we meet again. Believe in Angels, and do know they welcomed a new one on Wednesday.
