Helen Lewis Killingsworth Helen Lewis Killings-worth, 81 of Aiken, South Carolina, formerly of Dothan, Alabama, passed away on September 25, 2013 at Harbor Chase of Aiken. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 10 until 11:00 A. M., with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. She was born in Cottonwood, Alabama on December 16, 1931 and graduated from Cottonwood High School. She received nursing training at Frazier-Ellis Hospital and was a registered nurse for many years in the Wiregrass. The majority of her nursing career was spent at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Mrs. Killingsworth is preceded in death by her parents Alvin Lewis and Helen Rigell Lewis; sister, Mary Althea Sellers and brother, Donald Rigell Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Warren Malcolm Killingsworth also of Harbor Chase Aiken. A nephew, Daniel W. Killingsworth and nieces, Anne K. Jones, Laura K. Jolly, Donna G. McGilvray and Rhonda K. Morris. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
