Janet Cobb Obituary

Janet Hall Cobb, a resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at her residence. She was 59.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Pinecrest Cemetery in Mobile with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, at Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cobb was born on Jan. 6, 1949, in Mobile and resided there for the early part of her life. She moved to Abbeville in 1977, and lived there until moving to Cottonwood in 1985. She was employed with Houston County Health Department as a home health care attendant for the past eight years.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Cobb of Cottonwood; a son, Bryan Allen of Commerce, Ga.; daughters, Tricia Allen of Commerce, Ga., Sheri Seice and her husband, William of Dothan; stepchildren, Gary Cobb and his wife, Lynn, of Dothan, Cyndi Baxley and her husband, Kevin, of Slocomb; grandchildren, Justin Blandford, Storm Baxley, Joshua Cobb; a sister, JoAnn Henderson and her husband, William, of Mobile; several nieces and nephews.
