Jeanette Carol Currier, a resident of Daleville, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from injuries sustained in an airplane accident. She was 66. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Mrs. Currier was born October 10, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri and lived there the early years of her life. She married her high school sweetheart David Lee Currier on December 30, 1968 and became an active military spouse, raising her (6) children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Currier loved traveling with her family, photography, and bible study. She gave God glory through serving others daily. She was a blessing to many people and had a very generous spirit. She attended Wings Chapel in Ft. Rucker and was actively serving on the hospitality committee. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, (Ret. CW4) David Currier; her two daughters, Christine (Bobby) Sexton and Rebecca (Paul) Suggs; her four sons, Thomas (Gloria) Currier, CW4 David (Robin) Currier, Stephen Michael (Jill) Currier and (Ret. SSG) Joseph (Krishelle) Currier; twenty grandchildren, Justin Sexton, Joshua Turvey, Jacob (Alisha) Turvey, Jacob Suggs, Nathan Suggs, Noah Suggs, Tony West, Katie (Nic) Wyatt, Belle Currier, Mi Shell Gomez, Santiago Gomez, Richard Gomez, Brianna (Elijah) Rohwer, Julianna Currier, David Currier, Dakota Currier, Rainna Currier, Deisel Currier, Kayla Hansen and Karly Hansen; and four great-grandchildren, Axton Turvey, Mason Wyatt, Harrison Wyatt, Fallyn Nay; her two brothers, Steven Busch and Charlie Busch.
