Jeannette Z. Vick, a resident of Eufaula, AL for over sixty years, died on April 19, 2017, at the age of 87. She passed from this life at the home of her daughter in Valrico, FL where she had been living for the last three years. Jeannette was born on August 19, 1929, in Clayton, AL, the daughter of Clyde Zorn and Mary Tomlin Zorn. She was the beloved wife of J.W. Vick, the cherished mother of Sandra Vick Graham and grandmother of Kylee Graham Eaves, and the proud great-grandmother of Ella Mae Eaves. She was a much-loved sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Mrs. Vick was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sister, Betty White. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Graham, granddaughter and her spouse Kylee and Wes Eaves, great-granddaughter Ella Eaves, and niece Julie Bailey. Jeannette was a graduate of Bakerhill School. She was the long-time book-keeper for Kirkland Motor Company. Throughout her life, she was a faithful member of Washington Street United Methodist Church, participating in Sunday School and serving as a Sunday School teacher. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served in many offices including Worthy Matron. She devoted her life to caring for her family. She loved gardening, fishing and visiting family and friends. A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, April 22, at 2:00 p.m. in Eufaula, AL at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ron Lee officiated and burial followed at Adams Chapel Cemetery in Clayton, AL with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers included: Steve Bailey, Wes Eaves, Scott Galbreith, Bill Goff, Bill Jones, Milton Leddon, and Jerry Ray. Memorial donations may be made to Washington Street United Methodist Church and Adams Chapel.
