Joel Lee Outlaw

Joel Lee Outlaw, of Hartford, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. He was born October 10, 1959.

Joel was devoted to farming, gardening, fishing, and his love of animals. Joel made many special friends in the community and while doing business at Hartford Farmers Coop.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Marjorie Outlaw, and a brother Lance Outlaw all of Hartford.

He is survived by one sister, Karol (Ronny) Tyler of Dothan; three brothers, Ronnie (Gloria) Outlaw, Neil Outlaw, and Vann Outlaw, all of Hartford; nephews and nieces, Jeff Tyler, Greg Tyler, Michella Bennett, Shayne Outlaw, and Ashton Outlaw; aunts Sue Milstead and Martha Outlaw; cousins Cindy Milstead and Colleen (Kenny) Guy; a special friend Lori Clay and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at Pondtown United Methodist Church. Graveside services and burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pastor Donna Cumbie officiating and Jimmy Bottoms of Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 USA / [email protected], or Pondtown United Methodist Church 663 Pondtown Road, Hartford 36344.
