Joey Glisson Obituary
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Dr. Ralph Brannon officiating and The Rev. Gary Newell delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemtery in Enterprise with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Geneva, Friday, Dec. 14, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Joey was born Aug. 8, 1970, in Coffee County.
Survivors include his wife, Trina Mock Glisson; one daughter, Jessica Glisson; one son, Justin Glisson all of Spanish Fort; mother and stepfather, JoAnn and Donald Sanders of Chancellor; two brothers, Jimmy Glisson of Chancellor, Michael Jaynes of Geneva; one sister, Jeannie Merritt of Nashville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Trenton James King and Treavor Justus King; mother and father-in-law, Billy and Janice Mock of Spanish Fort; three nephews, Dakon Vandegrift, Slade Vandegrift and J.C. Kirkland; one niece, Tyler Jaynes; sister-in-law, Teresa Vandegrift of Spanish Fort.
