You dad was a truely great man and friend. I served with him in Vietnam and was always happy to meet up with him again at the "Bullwhip" reunions. He's resting now in "Fiddlers Green." I'm sure that Bullwhip 6 has already got him settled in.

Al's Family, my condolences, I knew Al for some 50 years and served in Viet Nam with him! He will always hold a spot in my heart! Sorry I can't be there for the funeral but my respect for him will always be there! Richard & Terrry Sistrunk Florida

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I've thought about him over the years and wondered how he was doing physically since he told me he was sick. My mother hasn't been gone that long, so I know how much you're going to miss him. But Boy! What an incredible reunion he's having right now! Bonni

AL WAS A WONDERFUL FRIEND TO BOTH MYSELF AND MY HUSBAND PAUL WHO SERVED WITH HIM IN VIET NAM. PAUL PASSED AWAY IN 2009 DUE TO AGENT ORANGE.

It is a terrible feeling to hear of Al's passing. I spent a year in Fort benning 11th Air Assualt and a year in Viet Nam 1st Cav 1/9th with Al. He will truely be missed by all.
