Mary Elton Walden Mary Elton (Hutchison) Walden went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 14, 2014. She was a resident at the Crowne Healthcare facility in Montgomery, AL where she was under the care of Hospice. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Enterprise with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in memory of Mrs. Mary Walden to Amedisys Hospice of Montgomery, 8160 Decker Lane, Montgomery, AL 36117. Born in Enterprise, Alabama in 1929, Mary was the only child of the late Max and Nev Hutchison. In addition to her parents, her husband of 49 years, Joe Parker Walden and her son, David Maxwell Walden, preceded her in death. She is survived by nine children: Kay Brooks and husband Jeff of Murphy, NC.; Jo Whittaker and husband Burns of Montgomery, AL; Glenda Owings and husband Duaine of Blue Springs, MO; Robin Mills and husband Hal of Edmond, OK; Tim Walden of Enterprise, AL; Andy Walden and wife Susie of Fredericksburg, VA; Paul Walden and wife Bobbilu of Denver, NC; John Walden and wife Jean of Enterprise, AL; Scott Walden and wife Sandy of Tucson, AZ. 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great, great-grandchildren also survive Mrs. Walden.
