Meredith McDaniel Meredith "Rea" McDan-iel, 88, of Enterprise, AL passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Parker and Chaplain Sonny Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330 or Enterprise Senior Citizens Center, PO Box 311614, Enterprise, AL 36331. Along with her husband, Mrs. McDaniel moved to Enterprise in 1955. She was a longtime, faithful member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved gardening. Survivors include her husband, Harrell H. McDaniel, Enterprise, AL; three dau-ghters, Julia Thomas (Jack) Niceville, FL, Carroll Dren-nan (Luther) Huntsville, AL, Brenda Parker (Ron) Hoover, AL; one son, Jimmy McDaniel (Monica) Belvidere, IL; four grandchildren, Jennifer Drennan, Susan Drennan, Adam Thomas and Amy Goodman; one sister, Margilee Harris, Satsuma, AL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
