Minnie Franklin Obituary
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at the Second Macedonia Baptist Church in Malone with the Rev. George Jackson, John H. Bower, James Garrett and Reba Sorey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be no scheduled visitation. Mrs. Franklin will lie in the church from 9 a.m. to service time at 11 a.m.
She leaves behind a "legacy" of love and precious memories of her loving family to include two daughters, the Rev. Kathlean Smith and Maglean Smith, both of Malone; one son, Alphonso Franklin (Edna), Chicago; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one god-sister, Ola Garrett (the Rev. James), Malone; and a special relative, Fennie Gosha, Gordon.
