Ms. Morgan Nicole Hasty, passed away peacefully in the arms of family on Friday, April 3, 2015 and was immediately healed and in the presence of Jesus. She fought a courageous battle against cancer for almost 5 years. She was 11 years old. Celebration of Life services for Morgan will be held at 2 PM Monday, April 6, 2015 at Memphis Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Tate officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 8 PM Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Memphis Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to; Memphis Baptist Church, 4595 Eddins Road, Dothan, AL 36301 or Children's Hospital of Alabama, Lowder 512, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233. Morgan was born June 23, 2003 to David and Mitzi McLendon Hasty. She was currently attending Providence Christian School and was in the 5th grade. Morgan loved gymnastics, playing basketball, painting, arts and crafts, playing with her dogs and especially aggravating her big brother. She was a member of Memphis Baptist Church. Survivors include her parents, David and Mitzi Hasty, Webb; brother, Dylan Hasty, Webb; grandparents, Quency and Sandra McLendon, Ashford, Halcot and Janet Hasty, Webb, Betty Hasty, Dothan; aunts and uncles, Stephen and Wendy Jones, Ken and Amber Brown, Stacey and Kim Trotter; cousins, Landon, Tyler, Caleb and Sophie Jones, Madison Brown, Abree and Ashlyn Trotter.
