Myra Clem Martin Wheat Parrish

Myra Clem Martin Wheat Parrish, Age 91 of Aliceville, AL passed away Apr. 30, 2018 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services will be held at Aliceville First United Methodist Church on Thurs., May 3, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Tim Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Franconia-Oak Grove Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior and immediately following service at the church. Myra was preceded in death by: first husband, Harry Houston Wheat, Jr. and second husband, CharlesWendell Parrish, and her parents. Survivors include: Sons, Harry H. Wheat III, Mark E. Wheat (Melinda); daughter, Myra Wheat Plitt (Randy), Stepdaughter, Cathy Booth (Billy); Grandchildren (10), Hugh Wheat (Erin), Amy Wheat Self (Scott), Evan Wheat, Kathleen Wheat Sacco (Brad), Anita Wheat, Rachel Warmanen (Jesse), Aaron Plitt (Sirena), Mark Plitt, James "Trae" Hunnicutt (Rachel), and Corey Hunnicutt (Brooke); Great-Grandchildren (10). Clem was born July 14, 1926 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Pearl Ollin Martin and Myra Zenada Falkner Martin. She was a member of Aliceville First United Methodist Church and was retired bookkeeper and co-owner of Wheat Drug Store. She was a loving mother and wife, excellent bridge player, and hostess. Pallbearers will be Brad Sacco, Hugh Wheat, Evan Wheat, Billy Booth, Wayne Perry and Michael Perry. Honorary Pallbearers Aliceville Manor Nursing Home employees.
