RALPH McNEAL Obituary

Ralph Edward McNeal Ralph Edward McNeal of Dothan, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Henry County Nursing Home in Abbeville. He was 85. Graveside service will be at Gardens of Memory on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Grimes officiating and Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation to the Southeast Alabama Medical Center Foundation, 1922 Fairview Drive, Dothan, AL or to Grandview Baptist Church, 2400 Forrester Road, Doth-an, AL. The family will receive friends at the home of Bruce and Angela McNeal, 601 Royal Parkway, Doth-an, AL. Mr. McNeal was born December 27, 1925, in Houston County, Alabama, to the late Victoria Vickers McNeal and James El-dridge McNeal. He retired from Southeast Alabama Medical Center, was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. His wife, Betty Horne McNeal, and siblings, Maude Beas-ley, Uris Bodiford, Gertrude Brooks, Arthur Mc-Neal, Carson McNeal and Roy McNeal, preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Edward McNeal (Audrey), Maumelle, AK; a son, Bruce McNeal (Angela), Dothan; a daughter, Brenda McNeal Morrison (Mickey), Mart-insburg, WV; a son, Jeffrey McNeal, Dothan; grandchildren, Michelle McNeal Watkins (Mike), Dr. Jonathan McNeal (Elaine), Joseph McNeal (Lyndsey), Josh McNeal, Clay McNeal, Stacy Morris (fianc‚e Holly Powers), Jessica Yost (Ad-am); great-grandchildren, Madison, Abigail & Christopher Watkins, Addison & Noah McNeal, Logan Mc-Neal.
