Richard Earl Lee Richard Earl Lee, 76, of Dothan went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, January, 7, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm until 2 pm Tuesday. Mr. Lee was born October 25, 1937 in Houston County and resided most of his life in Dothan. He was previously employed with RCA for several years until 1968. Mr. Lee returned to Dothan in 1968 and he owned several businesses with the most recent being Lee's Auto Hauling. Mr. Lee enjoyed growing fruit trees in his yard at home. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Lee, his sister, Edna Aplin, his brother, Robert Eugene Lee. Survivors include his wife Barbara Lee; step-sons, Ricky Woodham, Mickey Woodham (Gail), and Pat Lokay (Cathy); a step-daughter Cindy Lokay; 6 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Roger Lee (Susan), Joe Lee (Delma), Mary Helon Trawick, Sharron Choate (Jim), and Lanie Sue Blackshear (Harry); a special brother-in-law Durell Aplin; a sister-in-law Myrna Nelson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
