Mr. McClintock devoted his adult life to the growth and betterment of Dothan and served as its Mayor and Police Commissioner from 1954-1958. He faithfully served First Presbyterian Church in many capacities and was a deacon, elder and trustee. Mr. McClintock's entire life was one of service, not only to his community, but especially to his children as well. His greatest gift to them was his love of their Mother, his love for them and his faithfulness and love for his Lord. Mr. Richmond and I kept in contact for over 10 years after I left Dothan, sending each other Christmas cards each year. I cherished those cards that he sent me until they stopped... and I wondered what he must be going through... after his wife's passing... knowing that he was getting older. I was afraid to find out... I didn't want to know. I am so saddened to hear of his passing! He was a precious and wonderful man! I will miss him greatly! May God bless his family. My prayers are with you Lana and George...
