Robert Furry Obituary

Lanier-Andler Funeral Home Sneads, Florida 850-593-9900

Mr. Robert Eugene Furry, 87 of Sneads, FL passed away peacefully on July 3, 2017 and had lived in Sneads for the past 19 years coming from Punta Gorda, FL. Robert was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a volunteer State Trooper and Firefighter, and retired as Chief Building Inspector in Charlotte County Florida. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.

Robert is survived by his precious wife of 54 years, Shirley Furry; three daughters, Millie Kiser of Tennessee, Nethel Iverson of Sneads, and Thelma Jennings of Sneads; four sons, Steven Furry of Cape Canaveral, FL, Lester Furry of South Florida, Larry Scoles of Sneads and John Scoles of Punta Gorda, FL; 34 grandchildren as well as many other family members.

Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to Funeral Services at 10:00 AM CDT on Saturday, July 8, 2017 with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM CDT at Lanier – Andler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Juno Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Ridge, FL.
