Ruby Hall Obituary

Ruby Lee Hall passed Tuesday, May 9, 2006, in the Flowers Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, in First Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan with the Rev. B.K. Marshall officiating. Mrs. Hall will be laid to rest in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Reposing will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary, 103 West Southport St., Dothan.

Ruby Lee Hall was born Aug. 5, 1925, to the late Cleveland and Fannie Cummings Turner. Mrs. Hall was a very independent, hardworking woman of God. When she loved, she loved long and hard, for her love in God and her children was a mother's love that no man or woman could take away. So when you think of Mrs. Hall just know she never walked alone. God has always been by her side.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her late husband, Judge Hall Sr.; son, David Lee Hall Sr.; daughters, Virginia Lee and Jeanette Marie Hall; brothers, Willie D. and C.L. Turner and Junior Fenn; sister, Ethel Lee Turner Taylor; and grandson, Edward A. Hall.

Mrs. Hall is survived by a host of family, friends, and loved ones: brothers and sisters, Robert Earl (Clester) Turner, Nancy Bell (Silas Liles) Brewer of Dothan, Pecola (R.J.) Wilson of Vero Beach, Fla., Otis Fenn of Fayetteville, N.C., and Nettie Thelma Hicks of Tampa, Fla.; her children, Judge (Wanda) Hall Jr., Ladon (Sandra) Hall, Willie (Linda) Hall, Evie Nell (Norman) Hall, and Jonathan Hall of Dothan, Linda Jones and Jeremiah Hall (stepson) of Rochester, N.Y.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
