Ruby Stewart Obituary

Ruby Stewart Mrs. Ruby Stewart, age 85, a resident of Brundidge, AL, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at her residence in Brun-didge, AL. Visitation for Mrs. Stewart will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge, Alabama. Funeral services will be Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. with a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the services at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Brundidge with the Reverends Roger Waldrop, Mark Stephens, and Mack King officiating. Survivors include children, Johnny (Edra) Dunn of Brundidge, Rita (Sam) Peak of Prattville, Louie Frank (Elizabeth) Fryer of Montgomery, Mary Jean (Tommy) Hall of Blakely, GA, Faye Miller of Elba, and Vicki Abbott of Ozark; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Rose Brown of Joise, AL . Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stewart and grandson, Tom Hall. Pallbearers will be Chad Peak, Chris Peak, Jason Abbott, Matthew Abbott, Justin McLaughlin, Nick McLaughlin, Zack Ward, and Jordan Peak. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Montgomery Area Food Bank at 521 Trade Center Street, Montgomery, AL 36108 or the Disabled American Veterans. Visitation and services are under the direction of Trash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge, AL. Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge, AL, (334) 735-2100, is in charge of arrangements.
