Ruby Geraldine Trimm

Mrs. Ruby Geraldine Trimm of Dothan passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 following an extended illness. She was 87. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday, December 18, 2017, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Mrs. Trimm was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served in the nursery with bed babies for 50 years. After she retired from the serving in the nursery a reception was held in her honor. She attended Ashford High School and retired from Penney's. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was married to Mr. Tolliver Trimm for 66 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Lafayette Culver and Valietta Rabon Culver, brother Ethan Culver and sister Orine Trammell. Survivors include her husband Tolliver Trimm of Dothan; children Phil Trimm (Faye) of Slocomb; Phyllis Willis (Pat) of Dothan; Patricia Henderson (Stanley) of Gordon; brother Medford Culver of Texas; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
