Sarah Jim Ellison Paramore, a resident of Grimes, transitioned to her Heavenly home early Sunday morning, November 27, 2016. She was 79. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 1, 2016, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Mike Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary in Headland. Mrs. Paramore, daughter of the late James Washington Ellison and Daisy Bell Peterson Ellison, was a native of Headland and has lived in the Grimes area for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husbands Arthur Charles Larsen, Jr. and James Edward (Bo) Paramore; a daughter, Deborah Larsen; two sons, Arthur Charles Larsen, III and James Richard (Ricky) Larsen and three grandchildren; a sister, Joan Ellison Prophitt. Surviving relatives include two daughters, Cindy Grace (Larry), Wicksburg and Lori Evans, Midland City; three step children; three sisters, Frances Bailey, Dothan; Monette Crowder, Saraland, AL and Dr. Charlotte Kirkland Williams (Nolan), Newton; three brothers, Larry Ellison (Sue), Wicksburg; Danny Ellison (Laurada), Headland and Jerry Don Ellison, Hoschton, GA; thirteen grandchildren including a special grandson, Andrew Guy Larsen (Casey); twenty-six great-grandchildren. Serving as active pallbearers will be Andrew Larsen, Charlie Evans, Slade Peters, Trevor Richardson, Clayton Richardson, and Mike Forrester.
