Sherri Bonner Obituary
Sherri Dianne Jones Bonner, age 59 of Pensacola, Florida (formerly of Dothan) passed away at West Florida Healthcare in Pensacola, Florida, on Saturday, January 30, 2021, from complications of COVID-19.
Graveside services for Sherri will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Memory Hill cemetery with Revered Kyle Gatlan officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning, from 10am until 11:15am at Family First Funeral Care chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wiregrass Area Foodbank, 382 Twitchell Road, Dothan, AL, 36303. Social distancing guidelines shall be observed, along with everyone in attendance wearing a face mask.
Sherri was born on December 29, 1961 in Dothan to the late Donald and Jean Jones. Her love of people was apparent, and her smile was contagious. She was incapable of saying NO to anyone in need. Sherri had a unique gift of enabling the happiness and comfort of others. She was a driven businesswoman who treated clients and associates with respect, honesty, courtesy and exercised discretion. She had a love for the beach, sweet tea, and Hallmark movies. Christmas preparation was to be started in early October, if not sooner. Her holiday baked goods were craved by those lucky enough to have enjoyed them. All lives touched by Sherri were enriched in some way.
Sherri is survived by her husband Chris Bonner, of Pensacola, FL; daughter Lauren Parrish, of Pensacola, FL; and a sister Rhonda Blair, of Enterprise. Sherri is also survived by a stepdaughter, Leigh (Michael) Borda, and their children, Ace and Tallulah Borda, and a stepson Max Bonner.
