I would like to send my deepest sympathies to Sherrill’s family. I worked for Sherrill (we called him Dave) for many years when he was with COBRO at Cairns AAF. He was a joy to work with; his dry sense of humor kept us on our toes all the time. I always admired and respected him as a supervisor, and as my friend. I have to smile every time I think about all of the printouts that he gave to me to enter corrections he had made on the computer. He would write everything he wanted changed, but you had to turn the paper 360 degrees to read everything because he wrote the changes all the way around the outside of the printouts, he would just grin when he would hand a stack to me, because I would have that “oh-no” look on my face. God Bless your family, and may he be with you in your time of sorrow.

I just wanted to convey my deepest sympathy. I worked with Sherrill at Fort Campbell many years ago and for a short time at Cairns AAF in Daleville with COBRO Corp. I remember him as a very hard working individual and had great respect for him. God Bless you all, Anne Pardon
