Just found out about Steve´s passing today. My heart is sad. He was a special fiend and we had some fun times. I had the "privilege" of making him a jacket in one of my home ec classes. It was fun. I think my teacher had a crush on him. I will always remember that beautiful smile of his. Praying for the family as you near his birthday and the anniversary of his home going.

RIP Coach! I will never forget you in helping me during my senior year at Winter Park High School while we were in the state quarterfinals with my punting against Merritt Island High School. Even though you
weren´t a coach with WPHS, your coaching me with my punting helped me to get through to the next level.
Thank you again and may you rest in peace with our Heavenly Father! Condolences to your family and I will always remember you on that particular night! Roll Tide! Warmest regards, Tim Norman

Steve had many talents, including sports, singing, and playing his guitar. He was the main entertainment in our six grade banquet at southside elementary school. He could almost put Ray Stevens to shame when he stood on that stage play this guitar, put on his head piece and proceeded to sing Ahab the Arab!!!! Rest in peace my long time friend the promises that God gives us is we will meet again, one day

I played little league ball with Steve, then through 6 years at Young Junior and DHS, we played football, basketball, baseball and ran track together. Then, 40 years later, we reconnected and started playing golf together. Through every one of those activities, he gave everything he had and did it with a big smile on his face!

I met Steve when I was 6 years old, we were neighbors. We played ball in the front yard. Watching him play football for Dothan and Alabama made me love the sport. His devotion to his faith inspired many to follow. He was one of my childhood heroes, rest in peace.

Heaven has gained another Saint speeding down golden streets. So well remember his anointed service as a young FBC member. He called

down the fire of God has few others ever have.

Surely the Rapture is coming so soon that you will be with him again in no time.

Love to you all

I remember Steve from high school sports. You knew that he would be giving every thing he had . A heck of a competitor! Was shocked to read about his passing. May God bless his family.
