Terry A. Davis

Terry A. Davis, 54, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kyle Peddie officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Terry was born March 28, 1960 in Houston County and he lived in Dothan most of his life. Terry was a 1978 graduate of Dothan High School and he received a musical scholarship to Chipola College. He later performed with The Florida Boys Quartet and The Sound from Houston Texas. Terry also pastored several churches and he was currently employed with the correction facility in Graceville, Florida. Terry attended Wiregrass Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Inez Standifer. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Coker Davis; his daughter, Terra Elizabeth Davis; his mother, Joyce (Gary) Huffaker; his father, William Arthur Davis; his step children, Ashley (Trey) Robertson, Jessica (Jon) Collins, Meredeth (Chad) Hicks; step grandchildren, Harlee and Kenzee Robertson; his father-in-law, Ernest Coker; his step brothers, Brian Huffaker, Brad Huffaker and Jonathan Huffaker.
