Timothy Arnold "Tim" Evans, a resident of Headland passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 while fishing with his friends at Lake Eufaula. He was 52 years old. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are being accepted or memorial donations may be made to Children's Harbor, 1 Our Children's Highway, Alexander City, AL 35010. Tim was born January 17, 1966 in Alexander City, AL and spent the early part of his life there. He graduated from Benjamin Russell High School and Auburn University where he attained his bachelor's degree in History Education and Political Science. He was a man of many trades and held several positions at many different firms over the years. Most recently he was employed with Pinch-a-Penny Pools and Spas in sales, a position he has excelled at for the past 12 years. Tim lived by the 4 F's of life: fishing, football, family, and friends. He was a faithful husband, loving father and compassionate grandfather. He always supplied comic relief to everyone he met and will forever continue to be the life of the party. Tim passed away in a unique fashion that only those close to him would understand. He was a fisherman at heart, fishing made him whole. He would not have wanted to have left this world any other way. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Evans; his daughter, Christina Evans; step-children, Stephen and Sarah Pabody, Tom and Tabitha Harris, Zar and Rebekah Kovolov, Kurt and Susanna Muller, Timothy and Andrea Pabody, Johanna Kelley, and Michael Pabody; 15 grandchildren also survive.
