Tony Hughes Obituary
Tony Edward Hughes, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023, in his hometown of Dothan.
Born on June 27, 1966, to Emmer Jean Miller and the late Edward Hughes. Tony's love for adventure was evident in his spending time at the lake, boating and jet skiing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, exploring the open road, and feeling the wind in his hair allowing him to create lasting memories with his loved ones. Tony attended Rocky Branch Church but above all, Tony was a loving father who took great pride in his children. He was always there to support them in their endeavors, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Edward Hughes.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hughes; his devoted children, Chianne and Christopher Hughes; his brother, Glenn (Alison) Hughes; his sister, Sharon (James) Dyson; his mother, Emmer Jean Miller; and his stepbrother, Jason (Rita) Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with burial following in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice and their nurse Tabby for the special care they gave Tony.

Love Tony so much I want for get them days when was kid he work store and I was little 5 Year old I'm thinking I was I walk to store with my cuz Anthony brown he was little to hey store candy but he was try find us when I live I went some where else and he find us tok us home and I'm rubmer he rides and peanut festival prad all the time in the paragraphs and are we watching him in it he was good man off Hart I love so much he will be miss. He was like family to me. And he live closer to me when I was little

How blessed am I to have had you as a cousin to grow up with? You had the biggest heart of almost anyone I´ve ever known and it shined. I´m thankful for our last visit and the smile I saw on your face. You brightened my life and will be so missed.
