Troy Loyd Needham, a resident of Dothan, Ala., passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was 75.
The family requests that memorials be sent in his name to the American Cancer Society, 2346 West Main St., Suite 3, Dothan, AL 36303.
Mr. Needham was born in Muleshoe, Texas, on May 15, 1930. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and the Vietnam War, and he retired from military service after 20 years. Following his retirement he was employed for 20 years with civil service.
Survivors include his wife, Yoshiko Needham, Dothan; two daughters, Sandy Butler, and Nancy Needham-Bryan, both of Dothan; grandchildren, Troy Butler, Michael Foster, and Brianna Bryan; a brother, Bill Needham, Hale Center, TX; several nephews also survive.
