Tyler Jones Obituary
Tyler Cameron Jones of Ashford passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Memphis Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Tate officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 12 to 1 P.M., one hour prior to the service.
Tyler was born January 17, 1996. He was a 2014 graduate of Ashford High School where he was Salutatorian of his class. He played varsity baseball for 4 years. He was a 2019 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Troy University with a degree in Chemistry. Tyler has worked at Southeast Health as a pharmacy tech since 2016.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Peggy Jones and cousin, Morgan Hasty.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Wendy Jones, siblings, Landon (Ashlyn) Jones, Caleb Jones, Sophie Jones (Tye Nowell), grandparents, Quency and Sandra McLendon, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Landon Jones, Caleb Jones, David Hasty, Dylan Hasty, Ashley Jones, Ken Brown, and Tye Nowell.

Wendy and Stephen, I´m crushed but so hopeful in things not yet seen by you and I. Knowing you, Tyler is standing in the midst of glory as I write this. In his honor and to that end, Linda and I will be donating bibles in his name to spread the word of the saving grace of Christ around the world.
