Donna Bess Dearing

1939 - 2021

Donna Bess Dearing passed away peacefully in her home in Deer Park on May 5th at the age of 82. Donna was born in Chinook, MT on March 26, 1939. She grew up in Havre, MT and spent most of her life living in the Northwest. For the past 12 years, Donna resided in Deer Park and was an active member of the Deer Park SDA church, where she led a women's ministry group.

Donna worked for many years as a nurse's aid and in elderly care administration roles. Throughout her life, she was a loving caregiver for many friends and family members. Through her caring and warm-hearted spirit, her selfless care for others who were suffering or needed her help, and her beautiful smile, Donna made a deep and meaningful impact on everyone who knew her.

Donna was an avid reader throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, she loved animals and being outside in nature and she especially valued spending time with her family and friends.

Originally, there were five siblings in Donna's family. An older brother, Lawrence, who died as a young man and an older sister named Francie, who recently died at 85 years old, in Seattle, WA. The four sisters remained close to each other throughout their lives until the death of Francie.

Donna had four children, Michael Hayes, Darrin Hayes, Sally Ford and Julie Cooper (deceased). She is also survived by her sisters Gloria (Judy) Shortridge and Mary Denny, as well as her many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
