Linda Mae Moe

1955 - 2021

Linda Mae Moe peacefully passed away in the presence of her loved ones on Nov. 14, 2021, in Spokane, Washington.
She was born Linda Mae Worden on May 23,1955, to Nelson and Alice Worden at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane.
She graduated from Deer Park High School in 1973 and worked briefly at the Tri County Tribune. Then, she worked as a dental assistant in Deer Park. 
Linda was blessed with the birth of her daughter, Kimberly Moore, followed by her son, Michael Dury, whom she loved dearly. 
Later, she adopted and raised Brent, Jason, Benjamin, and Thomas. A loving, caring mother to all. 
Linda was also blessed with two dogs that she loved with all her heart, raising them as her kids.
She was referred to as "Momma Bear" by loved ones due to her protective and caring nature. "Don't mess with Momma Bear" was a common phrase.
She lived in the Deer Park area all of her life.
Most recently, she and her love, Rocky Jurgens, known as "Papa Bear," built a beautiful home and yard in Williams Valley. She loved working tirelessly in her garden and yard. 
Creating a wonderland of flowers, fountains, trees, and bushes drew her favorite wildlife. She enjoyed watching her fawns playing around her yard; often calling them by name. 
Linda joins her grandmothers, grandfathers, her beloved mother, father, brother Don, baby sister, and late husband, Earl Moe, in eternal life.   
The family has a graveside service planned at Riverside Cemetery in Spokane on Nov. 26, 2021, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Linda loved living plants. She also loved her pets and supporting the local humane societies.
