Judy ERICKSON-GRAN Obituary

Judy Alice Erickson-Gran passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on October 3, 1939, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Clayton and Ila Erickson, Judy spent most of her life in the Spokane area, a place she truly loved. However, she often spoke of her brief time in Newfoundland, Canada. Her husband, at the time, was stationed there and later in Florida, where Judy enjoyed new cultures and surroundings.

Growing up in Deer Park, Washington, Judy graduated from high school in 1958. She was a lively spirit, known for her talent as a drum majorette and baton twirler. Her love for music and movement continued throughout her life - she was always singing and dancing. Judy also had a special place in her heart for small dogs and could often be found with a furry friend curled up in her lap.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Curtis and Cory Burgett; her sister, Donna Murphy; and her brothers, Curt and Steve Erickson. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Benjamin Edward Burgett; and her brother, Jack Erickson.

Judy will be laid to rest in a Williams Valley Cemetery overlooking the beautiful valley she called home.
