Sue grew up in Spokane and attended J. J. Browne Elementary, Glover Junior High and Shadle Park High School graduating in 1973. She received her AA Degree in Accounting from Spokane Falls Community College in 1975.
After her schooling, she worked at Warm Beach Free Methodist Camp and Retirement Center as their bookkeeper for several years. She returned to Spokane and worked for various companies as their bookkeeper. About 10 years later, she took the position of the Director of Children's Ministry at Northview Bible Church. Sue lead that ministry program for 15 years before retiring from that position. She continued to be a bookkeeper for a couple of churches and several small businesses prior to her retirement in 2025.
She participated on a Mission trip to Ghana with Northview Bible Church before retiring. She truly enjoyed the trip, the Ghanaians and the ministry opportunities while she was there.
One of Sue's passions was her cake and cookie decorating, especially at Christmas. Sue loved teaching her nieces and grandnieces how to decorate cookies. Another of her favorite serving opportunities was pairing with her church to send her delicious cookies to the Troops overseas at Christmas time. She also relished the opportunity to bake specialty cakes, such as wedding and graduation cakes, for family and friends.
Sue is survived by her mother Nadine Logsdon Bogart, and by three of her four siblings, Lois (Dick) Winters, Dean (Dee Dee) Logsdon, Betty (Tom) Ishii, sister-in-law Colleen Logsdon, and step brother Greg (Rhonda) Bogart, 10 nieces and nephews and 15 grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Logsdon (1988), brother Doug Logsdon (2015), stepfather Gordon Bogart (2000) and stepbrother Kevin Bogart (2023).
As Sue has wished, her ashes will be released to the winds at her favorite location of all God's creation.
A memorial service will be held at Northview Bible Church on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, at 1 PM. Northview Bible Church is located at 13521 North Mill Road, Spokane, WA.
