Robert Heck Obituary

Robert Louis Heck Sr. "Bob", 85, of Preston, MD passed away on March 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born on March 20, 1939, to the late Charles Heck and Grace Mannion in Baltimore City. After high school, Bob entered the army and eventually was honorably discharged. After a two-week courtship, he married the love of his life Jacqueline. They were married for 63 loving years. Together they raised three children and created many memories as a family.

Bob's greatest blessing was his family. Spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren brought lots of joy to his life. He was a hardworking man who provided and loved for his family. Another joy in his life was watching the Baltimore Orioles. Bob was an avid Orioles fan, going to Camden Yards and taking in a good baseball game. Bob also loved his John Deere tractor which he worked very hard to have. He loved working and being in his yard, being proud of all his accomplishments.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Heck of 63 years; his children, Kimberly Benz (Steven), Marie Klump (Charles), and Robert Heck Jr. (Tiffany); nine grandchildren; and three great granddaughters.

A visitation will be held on March 20, 2025, from 11am-12pm at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home in Easton, MD. A service will start at 12pm following the visitation.
