Shirley and family
I was so sad to hear about Denny. It seems a person retires to do the things we want and then something happens. I played golf with Denny in the Seagate Golf league for many years.We played together on the same team. We had lots of fun and good memories. We shall all miss him.

Dear Aunt Shirley, Diane, DJ, and family,
It is with great sadness as I sit here and write this note to you all. I wish I could have been there with you.
I will remember this past April as a sad but good one. I was able to see Uncle Denny one last time. I appreciate the time I got to spend with him, even though it was short. Please know I am thinking of all of you everyday. Hold on to all the great memories you have of your life together with him.
If you ever need anything let us know. Don't hestitate to write or call. We are here for you anytime.

Dear Shirley,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Denny will be dearly missed by all of us. I will always remember his pride in everything he did: whether it was mechanical design at work, relentless thrashing of my softball team in the old MPI league, or his unwavering support of Minnesota college and pro sports teams in flaming e-mails that a group of us exchanged in good humor.

We are really going to miss Denny stopping over for just "the heck" of it. He was a wonderful caring man, with so much love for his family. Take good care of Shadow for Denny. You can count on us if you need anything at all. Our deepest sympathy.

Shirley & Family,
I will always treasure the friendship I had with Denny. We shared many personal discussions over a cup of coffee, a beer, during a hunting trip and many other venues. He was a very proud of his country, his workmanship, his personal belongings, and mostly his family, but the well kept secret that only a few of us knew was that under that outer shell was a heart of gold. May God bless and comfort all of you at this time and always.

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you. Denny was a good man and a great friend. When I got to MPI in 1984, it was Denny that taught me the most about what we did there. I always had respect for Denny as a man, and what I saw in him as a father and husband deepened that respect. I will miss him greatly.

Denny was a dedicated person and former colleague whose inescapable witty sense of humor I will always treasure. He always left me at a loss for a comeback.
It has been a great pleasure to have worked with him all those years at Normandale and at MPS.
I am so sorry I will not be able to make it to the visitation or the funeral as I am recuperating from surgery.

Grandpa will be missed soo much, and obviously everybody who knew him, loved him VERY much. Grandma..i want you to know that you're always in my thoughts and i love you so much too. As you know, grandpa was a great guy, and he will always be in our hearts.

Dear Shirley and family, So sorry to hear of Denny's passing. We worked together when he started at Normandale until 1991 at Seagate. Lots of good times! I last saw Denny at the "Old Timer's" Luncheon in December. I have many good memories of him. He will be missed. May God bless you and your family in this most difficult time.

I am so sad to hear about Denny. I still remember working with him on my first tester build project at Seagate. I think that he got a kick out of my software working on the first try. He always had a good story or funny comment and was appreciative of people who did the right thing - particularly managers who made a point of supporting and spending time with their people. We have missed him at Seagate and he will be missed even more now. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

I really didn't know Denny all that well, but on those occasions that our paths did cross - he always had something to say that would make me laugh. While being a somewhat distant acquaintance might make it easier - I choose to appreciate the good fortune of knowing Denny and being lucky enough to have had those laughs, rather than focus on future laughs lost. My deepest sympathies to his family and all his friends for your loss - Denny seemed like a kind, caring, good-hearted man.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Denny. I recently bowled with Denny and have played softball against him (the old CDC days). What a great person. We will miss him alot. Was a great guy to always see and talk with. Great sense of humor.
