Las Vegas, Nevada
Melba Stratton Stucki returned home to live with her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 11, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Melba was born in Hurricane, Utah on July 13, 1926 to William Henry Stratton and Eva Russell Stratton. She married Cleyon Loren Stucki of Santa Clara, Utah on March 19, 1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They settled with their young family in Las Vegas in 1955. Melba loved classical music, dancing with her grandchildren, and Norman Rockwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ila and Norma, brother Jack, husband Cleyon and daughter Judy Stucki. She is survived by her children; Beverly Judd (Gary), Larry Stucki (Ruth), Pattie Italiano (Steve), Sandra Stucki (Eric Fitzhugh), Gary Stucki (Valerie); 18 grandchildren, and 23 great-grand children. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Meadows 3rd Ward LDS Chapel (Carl and Saylor Way) at 5:00 pm, preceded by a viewing at 4:00 pm. A graveside service will be on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Hurricane, Utah at the Hurricane City Cemetery at 1:00 MST.

I went with your mother and dad to Switzerland and had the best time with them. Your mother was so much fun with her beautiful smile and good sense of humor. I enjoyed talking to her when she stopped in my store in Santa Clara. She was a great lady. You have my sympathy for your loss. Loretta Adams
